The inaugural Native American Cup, was captured by the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe. However, the real winners were the students who will be receiving scholarships as a result of the tournament. On hand, to provide a role model for golfers, students and sponsors, was Notah Begay III. Notah, a graduate of Stanford University, is a four time winner on the PGA tour and twice an All American at Stanford.
