Fox Hills Golf and Banquet Center will receive the Course of the Year award from the MGCOA membership at the upcoming annual meeting at the Soaring Eagle Resort this coming Monday and Tuesday. Fox Hills is the first course to receive this new award that honors vision and imagination in golf course management. This year, they opened up the Fox Hills Strategic course. The Ray Hearn design has received a lot of praise since the course opened. The Michigan Golfer TV Show recently taped a show with Ray Hearn at the Strategic Fox. It will be aired this coming spring.

Fox Hills First....Again! On the Saturday before Thanksgiving over 250 golfers traded a turkey for a tee time at Fox Hills near Plymouth. A few days later more than two tons of frozen turkeys were distributed by the Salvation Army to needy families in the area. A tip of the tam to Fox Hills owners Sandy Mily and Kathy Aznavorian for contributing their three fine courses- Classic Fox, Golden Fox and the very innovative Strategic Fox for this most worthy cause.
