LOUISVILLE GOLF FOUNDER, ELMORE JUST, INDUCTED INTO THE KENTUCKY GOLF HALL OF FAME
Elmore Just was recently inducted into the Kentucky Golf Hall of Fame. Just was an expert on persimmon wood and authored "The Persimmon Story", the definitive text on the persimmon species as used in golf equipment. He began Louisville Golf in 1974. In its heyday, Louisville Golf was making persimmon woods for companies such as Hogan, Wilson and Spalding.
Today Louisville Golf is the premier golf company in the world specializing in making persimmon woods and wood putters. His four brothers - Ronnie, Mike, Robert and Gerard carry on the Louisville Golf tradition and legacy.
